Been to a lounge lately? Or are you planning to build one in your house? Or you want drink recipes just to impress your hubby and friends? Well whatever your reason is for searching drink recipes, there is no dearth of knowledge on internet about it. You can find thousands of recipes at one website and then there are thousands of webpages dedicated to drink recipes. These drink recipes are classified in a number of ways, some of them way out of imagination. There are some websites that classify drink recipes according to the size of the glass in which they are drunk. Generally drink recipes are most commonly classified as alcoholic, non-alcoholic, shooters, punches and hot beverages. Cocktails and mocktails belong to the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink recipes respectively. Cocktails are by far much more popular drink recipe in parties. These include Martinis, bloody Mary and other alcohol mixed drinks. One of my most favorite drink recipe is bloody Mary. It's a mixture of tomato juice and vodka in 2:1 ratio. Add a few drops of lemon juice and half a teaspoonful of Worcestershire sauce and just a hint of Tabasco. Shake it well and serve with lot of
ice and salt and pepper according to taste. Mocktails are nothing more than the non-alcoholic counterparts of alcoholic drink recipes. They generally contain sodas, juices and other non alcoholic beverages. These drink recipes are good for those who get high a bit too quickly on small doses of alcohol. These are by far less complicated to make too. Any smoothie would even fall into the category of a mocktail. Well just one non alcoholic drink recipe for you. Its absolutely fantastic and you need to try this drink recipe to believe it. Add two finely cut apples to a bowl of mixed berries. Blend them in a blender until it becomes single colored throughout. Other drink recipes more popular in Asia and more particularly in Indian subcontinent and more so in those countries where alcohol is banned are based on coffee, tea, milk. One of the drink which has medicinal as well as a warming effect on your body is called Kashmiri Kahwah. This tea based drink recipe contains a lot of dry fruits and thus is advisable for those suffering from common cold and cough. It is made by boiling the water with tea leaves first. Now filter out the tea from leaves. Add dry fruits like pistachio etc and boil again. Drink this tea and eat the dry fruits along with it. You'll be amazed to see the speed at which your cold will be gone. Though Shooters and Punches are not considered a part of alcoholic drinks, they are primarily alcohol based drinks with varying concentration of alcohol.
